HOW IT BEGAN
The Fine family felt a stirring in early 2024 that God was preparing them for something new. To their surprise and delight, God was calling them to plant a church in their local community.
Through the prayerful confirmation of trusted friends, Veil Church was born.
We would love to have you join us.
VISION & MISSION
His Presence for all of Life
We exist to rearrange our lives to hear from God, become more like Jesus and build for His Kingdom
OUR LEADERSHIP
Eden and Brittany Fine have been building family, ministry, and community together since 2007—after a providential high school encounter that started in Alaska and landed in New Mexico. They’re now parents to six incredible kids and lead lives full of joy, chaos, coffee, and calling. From youth ministry to church planting, homeschool to hospitality, their story is anything but boring—and it’s all fueled by God’s grace.
OUR CULTURE
“You can’t build culture without a shared langauge and shared values.”
At Veil, we keep the main thing the main thing: Jesus—crucified for sinners, risen in power, and reigning as King. The Bible is God’s Word—our highest authority and deepest delight. It doesn’t just inform us; it forms us, shaping every part of life in His presence.
Our Beliefs
Yeah, we know—it’s kind of a weird church name. Sounds more like a wedding shop than a worship space. But in Scripture, the veil was what separated people from God’s presence—until Jesus tore it down. Hebrews 10 even says He is the veil—His body opened the way for us to draw near. So for us, “Veil” means access. Intimacy. Worship that isn’t far off but face-to-face.
Our Name
Presence over Personality
A great meal isn’t about the chef’s personality—it’s about the presence of the people around the table. In the same way, church isn’t built on a personality. It’s about God’s Presence and being present with one another.
Corporately: Our teaching is shared among a team of gifted leaders—we’re not centered on one voice.
Community over Platform
You don’t build family by eating in front of a screen—you build it by sitting across from each other at the table.
Life together here—face-to-face, eye-to-eye—is more important than any platform or online reach.
Corporately: Community Groups are the heartbeat of Veil, where meals, prayer, and life-on-life discipleship happen.
Tables before Pulpits
The pulpit matters, but the dinner table shapes faith most.
The sermons kids remember won’t just be from a stage—they’ll be from the family table.
Corporately: We equip parents with resources for family discipleship and encourage rhythms like Sabbath dinners and home worship.
Invites over Marketing
Meals don’t spread because of ads. They spread through invitations: “Come eat with us.”
The same is true for the church—growth happens through relationships, not campaigns.
Corporately: We encourage every household to live with an “open chair,” ready to invite neighbors, coworkers, and friends to the table.
Disciples over Consumers
Church isn’t a restaurant where you order what you want and send back what you don’t.
It’s a family dinner table—you show up, you contribute, and you’re formed together.
Corporately: Everyone serves—kids alongside parents, teens in leadership, adults using their gifts to bless the body.
Sending over Staying
A healthy table doesn’t just feed—it sends people out nourished to love and serve.
We don’t gather just to sit, but to be sent into our city and the nations with the presence of Jesus.
We want to encourage, equip, and showcase the people of Veil as they live on mission in their everyday “worlds”—homes, workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods.
Corporately: We partner with Harvest Compassion Center and Choices Pregnancy Centers locally, and support ministries like Amigo Fiel (Juárez, Mexico) and Dr. Umuku in Uganda globally.
