The Fine Family

Eden and Brittany both hail from Southeast Alaska, but fate (and probably a little divine intervention) had them meet all the way in New Mexico during their senior year of high school. Two years—and who knows how many awkward dates—later, they tied the knot in the summer of 2007. (Fun fact: Eden was homeschooled, and Brittany was his first girlfriend, so those early dates were extra awkward.) Fast forward a few years, and now they’re proud (and perpetually exhausted) parents of six kids: Eliora Belle, Eden-James, Haddon Titus, Yvonne Piper, Calvin Huckleberry, and Boaz Clive. That’s right—six. Their home is a wild mix of homeschool, circus, and revival meeting, and if you’re wondering, no—they haven’t slept in about 16 years. But fueled by love, coffee, and grace, they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Eden grew up as a pastor’s kid, with his earliest memories filled with church life—often being the last to leave the building. After high school, he attended a discipleship school in Austria, where his passion for ministry deepened. He served as a youth pastor for 10 years, during which, he furthered his education through Re-Train and earning a Certificate in Missional Leadership. Eden is a man of many passions—and even more opinions. He loves reading, especially collecting editions of Pilgrim’s Progress, and will happily debate theology with anyone who dares to engage. Though he’s not shy, Eden is an unapologetic introvert who loves people deeply but needs a nap and some personal space afterward. Speaking of naps, his favorite place to crash is on the couch, ideally with one of his kids snuggled up beside him. He’s self proclaimed coffee snob, and a photography enthusiast, often capturing his kids or the breathtaking Arizona sunsets. Eden has some serious opinions—like an aversion to chain restaurants that borders on a personal vendetta—and he’s not shy about sharing them. But hey, that’s part of the charm, right?

Brittany runs on coffee, Jesus, and chaos—and somehow makes it all look effortless. She’s a classically trained vocalist and music teacher, with music tastes that range from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald to opera, Christian rap, and worship music. She loves baking (mostly to keep her sanity), homeschooling their six kids, and thrifting for hidden treasures. Date nights with Eden often turn into missions to discover the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants, with any of her eclectic playlists setting the mood in the background. She’s up for a good concert but will be the first to say her favorite place is home—whether it’s a lazy PJ day, a pool day with cannonballs galore, or hosting epic dinner parties where she can show off her charcuterie skills and bring people together.

In 2016, Eden and Brittany moved to Arizona to help with a church plant in Phoenix while growing their photo booth business. In 2019, the Fine family felt called to a church in Scottsdale, where Eden was invited to join the pastoral staff. Over the years, he served in various roles, most recently as the campus pastor, a position he held until 2025.

In January 2024, Eden and Brittany felt a familiar stirring in their hearts, sensing that God was preparing them for something new: to plant a church together as a family.
